We welcome German based due Aphtc for the second installment of our digital imprint NORDIG. The release features 3 tracks exploring the soundscapes around 130-140bpm.
From the dystopian “Requiem for Caleb” to the dancefloor-feel “Brace Split Merge” – the progressively arranged percussion build up momentum every step of the way and light the way through the distorted soundscape.
Give it a listen and take a trip through this opaque world.

NORDIG is the digital only imprint of Nord Label, which launched in 2016. It will featured a handfull release by a variety of artists from around the world. The sound leans towards the “parent-label”. This orientates itself on the darker and experimental interpretation of drum and bass and other styles around 170bpm as well as 120bpm.
The imprint was born out of the idea to expand Nord Label capacity as a platform for musicians and their art. The way we “pick” the music and work together with the artists is the same we’ve established at Nord Label. It means keeping an open mind, giving the artists freedom, give constructive feedback, but mostly help the musicians seeing their ideas come true.
